Joy’s Story:

Joy was born in Jamaica and raised in South Yorkshire!! She is married to John and has two teenage sons. She has a unique and diverse background in business including first-hand experience in textile design technology, marketing and area sales management.  Joy has spent her corporate career working for the brand giants MARS where she was marketing executive and trade relations manager for their Cooking Sauce Brands Dolmio® and Uncle Bens®.

With a corporate background Joy is well used to leading and working within teams to achieve results, and has helped others by sharing her achievements, experiences and challenges saving many individuals time and energy by helping them to focus on the all important ‘next step’ for a project or situation.

Joy is skilled in dealing with people at all levels and in particular enjoys working with secondary school aged students to help them achieve their goals and aspirations.

Joy is also a Chartered Management Institute Ambassador, East Midlands Business Champion and serves on the Loughborough University Business Advisory Board supporting Students in Free Enterprise.
